I plan on visiting 7/17/2020 and want to play in waterfalls and walk the creek/river beds. But I'm getting the impression you cant do either. Is that true?

Gorge trail remains closed.

The gorge tall is closed and your not supposed to go in the water on it any way, although everyone does. You can swim and wade in the pool area though

When we went June 13th, you could not. I suggest checking the website or calling. I think there are several factors that affect being able to do those things. Heavy rainfall makes the areas very muddy and unsafe.

Last I knew the Gorge trail is closed. Also you are not allowed to play in the waterfalls. Rangers walk the trails and tell you to get out of the water.
