Keep on trying visit the website everyday if you can. You got to be patient. i have just renewed mine recently and if i will count the days of my trying and waiting it lasted like 400days or more than a year.
As long as it's not expired, you can use your passport as your ID. After Nov 21, 2021 that passport will no longer be honored as a valid ID
