It is open to the public. I cant imagine its too much more expensive than buying Oakleys from a regular department store but building a custom set is definitely expensive.

This location is the world headquarters for Oakley, so while there is a store open to the public it's also a huge office & warehouse. You're not going to find any discounts here - everything is full price, and if you're familiar with the Oakley product you know what to expect - however, if you already own some Oakleys and they need some fine tuning, the customer service department will take care of you free of charge
It's an employee store usually the prices there are cheaper.
