Intercore Physical Therapy is the BEST in town!! The staff is extremely helpful and kind to each person's specific needs. Curtis has helped me so very much while I was receiving physical therapy at Intercore. Thank you! Thank you!

I have come to Intecore several times over the years for different injuries. They always help out me back together and get me moving again. The staff is very professional, caring and always take the time to listen to me! I highly recommend Intecore for anyone who is looking for top notch care! Thanks again Intecore staff for helping me on my recovery!

I recently went in for physical therapy at the Foothill Ranch location for my left knee and I must say I am very happy with the results. After trying numerous other places, I was not getting any success but Vency and Team at Intecore Physical Therapy had a very detailed plan for me and I immediately starting seeing results within few weeks of rigorously performing the exercises that were given to me. I also loved the fact, the exercise program was shared to me via the App which I am still continuing with after all sessions were completed. So happy that now I am able to perform 100% of my workouts and don't have to stop pushing harder. Would definitely recommend Intecore Physical Therapy to anyone looking for PT sessions, you won't be disappointed!!

I've been going to Intecore PT since April for hip pain and I would highly recommend this office to anyone. Everything about being a patient at Intecore has been a breeze: paperwork, scheduling, parking, etc...the staff and location are amazing. I have been seeing Vency and she is amazing - very knowledgeable and personable. Most importantly, however, she listens to me and how I feel and when I ask questions or give feedback, I always feel like it is being taken into consideration. I actually look forward to my appointments and seeing her and the rest of the staff. In addition to all the positives above, the team at Intecore do a fab job of keeping everything clean, sanitized and organized. I've never been kept past my appointment time, everyone is super prompt and efficient, and they definitely keep things moving like clockwork (which is great, since I often come in on my lunch break)!

As long as it takes you to make an inquiry and then come in to see us! It will happen much quicker than if you wait and see if the pain gets better on its own, or chance it by taking painkillers or going to see the doctor!
That is dependent upon the nature of your injury and how quick you want the improvements. Our aim is to return you to full fitness as quickly and as safely as possible. Your physical therapist will be in a better position to answer this following your initial consultation. Seeking treatment early nearly always means less time to recover and less physical therapy sessions needed.
Only when you are happy and usually at the end of your appointment.
Yes, that's no problem. You do not need to inform us of this decision in advance.
No. Just call us and book.
More often than not the pain stops as soon as we do, so you only have to tell us to stop and we will. Pain is a side effect to physical therapy that is often unavoidable and most patients concede that the pain is a nice sort of pain, one they know is doing them some good and is often no worse than the pain that they are already in.
We have 30 minute and 60 minute options.
No. Despite what you might think, “strength” has nothing to do with being a great physical therapist.
We certainly do!
Absolutely. The aim is to help you in every which way that we can. Primarily, we will do everything for you, but of course we will provide you with the tools, hints and tips that you can use to make a difference on your own too.
Not really. But it is true that physical therapy is a very physical experience and as such treatments can often be a little uncomfortable at times, but we will always aim to be as gentle as possible and cause the minimal discomfort we possibly can to get your problem solved as fast as we can. Before we do any physical therapy techniques we will tell you exactly what is about to happen whether or not it is likely to hurt and for how long.
Things like massage, stretching and loosening of joints and muscles, combined with exercises and advice to improve posture.
Yes. Anyone who is expecting a miracle and hoping to be fixed in one visit. Rarely possible, particularly for injuries happening to people aged 40+.
Yes and Yes. Most sports injuries settle down so that you can walk around and do simple, everyday things without pain. But as soon as you step it up a level or two, if the problem is still there, it lets you know in the way of tightness, pain or swelling and stiffness. Physical therapy can definitely help you!
Yes. It’s a simple case of strengthening your body to limit the impact of arthritis before it’s too late. Physical Therapy will give you hope, the confidence to go places (and do things) and WILL let you get active again fast.
Yes. You’re an almost perfect candidate for PT. This is a typical story. Most joint problems begin with warning signs like the clicks and cracks you’ve been hearing. And then a few years later comes the pain.
Yes! But please understand it can’t CURE it. It can very easily help manage the symptoms and many people come to physical therapy suffering with “wear and tear” (arthritis) inside their knee joints etc.
The amount of care taken, the hands-on techniques and skills being used and the ability to accurately diagnose an injury.
Yes. The care that we provide is predominantly “hands-on”. Deep massages, stretching and mobilization etc. combined, is generally the fastest way to return you to enjoying better health.
Often within a day or 2. If you need an emergency appointment, please let us know as we may be able to arrange for a physical therapist to help you the same day.
Only if the time is right and we think you doing them is not going to make your pain worse. We’ll give you as many hints or tips as possible that you can use when you get home.
Yes
Absolutely NOT. Physical Therapy certainly does help people who do play sport but it is actually much more valuable and better suited to help people who are aged 40+ who just want to keep active and on-the-go for as long as possible or people who want to stay mobile and retain their independence.
Yes. It’s always our intention to start making progress on the pain and/or stiffness as soon as possible.
Absolutely! We even encourage this by offering free telephone consultations. Visit our website for more details or give us a call or send us an email.
If your problem or concern is one of pain and/or stiffness in the muscles or joints of the following areas: Back, Neck/Shoulder, Hip, Ankle, Knee, Foot, then it’s highly likely that physical therapy will be able to help you!
Our first priority is to tell you what’s going wrong and then tell you what needs to be done to resolve the problem and get back to doing what you love. If you decide that you don't want to continue on a plan of care with us that is absolutely fine and there would never be any hard feelings!
You never have to remove large chunks of clothing. To make your physical therapy experience as comfortable as possible please keep in mind the location of your injured body part. For example if you have a lower back injury, shorts and a loose shirt would be ideal. Your physical therapist will always aim to remove as little clothing as possible and will never ask you to remove an item of clothing that may completely expose a large area of your body.
Absolutely! There are very few people we are not able to help. No matter your age, activity level, lifestyle etc. there is a very high probability that physical therapy with us will be beneficial. And if we can’t help you we will be able to refer you to someone who can.
Yes! If you arrange to have physical therapy with us, you’ll be given access to your own physical therapist who will be on hand to take your call or reply to your emails, for as long as you need.
There are two ways physical therapy can help and a good physical therapist will lift your concerns and ease your worries by telling you what’s going wrong, often within 10-15 minutes. Next, the speed at which the physical problem is eased is completely dependent upon your age, how long you’ve had it, how severe it is etc. and the manual skills of the physical therapist. Rarely does any one spend more than 2-3 weeks in our care before starting to feel significant improvement.
Physical Therapy is a proven strategy for first easing the worries and concerns of people suffering from aches, pain and stiffness, then helping that person move freely again, bending further, stretching easier and living an active and healthy lifestyle in their 40’s, 50’s or 60’s. More, it lets that person live free from the worry that the same problem will come back to haunt them anytime soon.
