Friends of Upland Animal Shelter operates with a “no kill” philosophy, dedicated to finding every adoptable animal a loving home. Friends contracts with the City of Upland to maintain the municipal shelter and care for the city's animals. The shelter also cares for sick and aggressive animals that are not always adoptable, and some of these do not make it out of the shelter, so we generally refer to the shelter as “low kill”. The shelter achieves live release rates between 80-90% for all animals (including sick and aggressive that don’t make it). Friends and City Animal Control evaluates all animals that come into the shelter to provide the best, most humane outcome for each. Found (stray) animals found in Upland can be turned in at the Upland Animal Shelter. Animals found in other cities/communities need to be taken to the shelter responsible for the City in which they were found so that owners who may be looking for them have a chance to find them at their local shelter.
You could call and ask. Google them or research a rescue sight to see if they will take them. Prayers for a loving family to adopt them.
I took a dog there they always say they will get adopted although I'm not sure but I don't think they kill dogs
