Went here to cash a personal check given to me. I was asked if it was mailed to me or if I picked it up. I was asked what I was using the money for. I was asked how I know the person who gave me the check (family) and gave them the issuer’s phone number which is a landline phone. They lied and said the number goes to someone else. It’s a landline and I called several times and it went through. The lady there told me she needed to reach out to their main office after taking my social, fingerprint, picture and asked about my employment. This was all just to cash a simple check. I felt discriminated against and have never dealt with this to cash a check. My aunt told me to cancel it and meet her at the bank to get cash instead. This was one of the most terrible experiences I’ve had when trying to cash a check.
