That depends on whether or not he was surrendered by his former family. If he was found by an officer or by someone from the general public they will leave him at the shelter for four days not counting the day he was brought in in case somebody has lost him and wants to pick him up and take him home. But if he has been surrendered by his former family he will be put up for adoption after two days have passed since he was dropped off. Go take a tour of the kennel area, write down his ID number and take it from there. You will have to pay around $122 for the services that are perform during the adoption process not for the dog himself. Good luck!
