Don't go to petco/petsmart....please read reviews first on banfield hospital for pets way before even thinking of going there. It's the worst place all over the country. mspca is for all....I've gone there and never was asked about where I lived in order to get shots for my pets. But stay far away from banfield pet hospital in petsmart. They are all about money and not the health of your furbaby. The horror stories you'll read will keep you away. My dog is gone and he should not of been put to sleep a 7 years old. It's a long story and I wish I looked at the reviews before going to the place cause I would of NEVER brought my boy there. You'll understand after reading what is written about them. They work with kill shelters as well. Mspca is a good place and it's on the line of mass and nh. They do free shots and spayed or neutered animals to keep the population down. Good luck....
Your friend can call them up, but Petco/Pet Smart also offer low-cost vaccination clinics.
