I was wondering when are the days to give up a pet. I have been trying but this corji does not fit with the family, I am disabled and it's so hard . He is a 10 month old purebred corgi .

He needs alot of room to play , I had multiple surgeries and cannot do it. I had a mini daushound for 14 years love her but she passed away and then we got benji took hyper for me

Northeast is a no kill shelter. You made a good choice to bring your Corgi there. The breed is very popular due to the Royal Family having them. They won't have any trouble placing him in a good home. True, they are particular. I had to go through more to adopt my Husky from them than I did to adopt my son. They even called my neighbor for character reference. We had our dog (the second from there) for 15 glorious years.
