We were blessed with home depot gift cards otherwise we would not buy or spend our money at Home Depot. My husband and all of family are veterans but unless you are an injured, active, full retired veteran they do not recognize veteran status.

When I inquired as to whether or not employees get a discount, I was told only VETERANS (I assumed any status) got discounts. So, because your husband was fortunate enough to make it through physically unharmed they will not recognize his service with their very low 10% discount? This is wrong on so many levels it's ludicrous. I would write a letter to HD and cc the Veterans Administration so they can share this info with ALL VETS, EVERYWHERE. Perhaps if enough of our American Patriot Warriors start shopping across the street at "Big Blue" (Lowe's) Agent Orange (HD) will stand up and honor ALL VETERANS.

That's not cool. Have you spoke with a manager? Or corporate maybe?
