Not sure what you mean by recieved the letter. If you mean the part was defective and Chevy sent you a letter to bring the car in then yes they will replace it at no charge to you.
Well you have to ask at Felix Chevrolet and see if they can do the oil change or if there is a repair and if you still have coverage in your car by Chevrolet I hope to help
