It connected the north and south bay areas.
It's been built 75 years ago, it's a technological marvel with the limited technology they had braving the fog and cold weather with a short time. In today's time it will take more time to build the same structure. It took toll on the health of the chief engineer and after the bridge was open he died next year. Kudos to the team who has made the bridge possible in those times
Because of history it tells of the effort it took and the way it was built despite the lack of technology it requires. Since, the dead mans who worked on it and exists no more, tells no tails, it would be better to go through Wikipedia.
Google should able to answer that question lol
Because how and when it was built.
It was built in 1930s and its like a grand entrance to san Francisco
At the time it was built, it was the longest main span suspension bridge in the world.
