Sausalito Public Library

One of my favorite public libraries in Marin county Sausalito, CA. I love coming here. It is a very quit, resourceful, old fashioned ETC library. Staff is very responsive and respectful! PARKINGS wouldn’t be a issue, it is a 2 hrs limit on street but as per the library staff library has its own designated parking too double check with them. Also very close to the library is a playing area for adults and kids as in attached pictures.

While the Sausalito Public Library is one of the smallest in Marin, this library has something for everyone. It's collection of nautical themed items is unmatched in Marin. There are 8 computer stations for public use. The space is warm with plenty of options for sitting and reading. It invites one to relax and stay a while. The staff is friendly and helpful, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and familiarity. I find this a most comforting space to hang out while reading of surfing the web. There is a separate children's room that is soundproof, so you are not disturbed by the kids making noise or having a story read to them.

A great staff. But I wish that they would be open during what I would call social hours. That is Friday & Saturday nights. I don't feel like watching TV, going to a coffee shop all the time, and I definitely don't want to hang out in crummy, way past their day bars, like the No Name.

Quiet almost always. Decent collection, super nice staff. Lots of art and sailing books. Bring a basketball and shoot hoops in between study or reading. Sausalito Library is bangin.
