Yes. Not sure what the statistics are... Was one suicide attempt every 2 weeks on average. The bridge is open 24/7. There is now a rescue net below the span... goes out a few feet on both sides of the bridge.

there are fences up around the bridge's walk ways. Gotta be dedicated to get out there before the cops
