Both walk and bike. But since it's windy and cold make sure to keep a jacket. It's amazing to see ocean views , the engineering of the bridge and if you are lucky a ship crossing the bridge.

Yes you can and its real fun . Epic Great Pacific Ocean views . Cars crossing your Right hand side and on the other side of the road on the bridge there is Bike trail . If you are walking with kids make sure you are looking their every moment. Have fun and make sure you have your jacket with you its really cold sometimes and its very windy in summer too :). You can see the ships some beaches and Helicopter that goes underneath the Bridge and then all the way up from the bridge thats awesome .
