For a Passport you need birth certificate proof of identity e.g. drivers license ID card you're social security number do not need the card just the number and a check for US Department of state and can be obtained at the old orange county courthouse across Broadway at civic center drive. (red brick building) For birth certificate I believe it's only you're ID I'm not too sure about that but it can be obtained in Room 106 at 12 civic center plaza
