My Father and I never had any issues or problem with my Father's Social Services Worker. My Father had three (3) different Social Services Worker for the past 5 years and they are all wonderful. They are soft spoken, very helpful and very professional. They are expert into this and they can feel us and they know that we need help. Their Accounting department are very helpful as well. Thank you very much Orange County In-Home Supportive Services for all y our help!!! Sincerely, Lorena Gutierrez

I have been with IHSS for several years and have never had any problems or issues with my worker. All of a sudden my worker gets switched on me and now I have to deal with someone who has a terrible attitude and wants to speak to me as if I were a "CHILDS" I intentionally added the S on child and if you know what I'm talking about then you know who I'm talking about. The worst experience ever with this person. I am now a retired county employee and to say that this person is a fellow County worker leaves me totally speechless. I felt like I was being attacked. I will be filing a formal complaint on said person as he should not be talking to anyone the way he spoke to me.

Does anyone know where we (applicants) can complain about the workers at this IHSS office? The social workers or clerks at this office are rude, and aggressive every time we spoke to them. They act like they are God and they treat us like Beggers/ Homeless. Hope some Human Right can look into this matter

The workers are very abuse the receiptants by reducing their care hours unexpectedly, and then only give back those hours when the family appeals, or escalates the matter to hearing (court). I suggest ... *Know your right and stand by it for your family*

I know exactly who you're talking about and I also had problems with him and it took me quite some time and unimaginable stress but I did finally get a new wonderful social worker . Don't let him get away with making you feel uncomfortable as he did me or cutting your hours due to that , He's not a good listener and this job does not suit him and his skill set or should I say no skill set for this Type of work where you have elderly, disabled and/or very ill people.
Register with OC IHSS Services on Warner Ave Santa Ana. If it's been more than a year since you've collected pay in Riverside County they will ask you to complete an OC Orientation class and pay for another Live Scan..$57.00 (I believe)
If you're part of the union they will actually do this for you. Contact UDW
You need to check with SSI or whatever you're on to be certain that this won't jeopardize your aid.
Call public authority and they can put you on a provider list.
I hope things got better for you.
Are you still locking for a provider for your father?
Yes, she lets them go just like any other employee. If you call them there's an automated message that directs you to another number that puts you in touch with other registered providers. If you need the contact info let me know.
Yes
I don't believe so.
Log on to ihss account and the option is on there direct deposit. U dont have to fill any forms
I don't know but I would probably call them
Then its time to move on im sure their issues should be taken into consideration
I did go to that office, and, eventually, someone said she would mail me the list. Others were there for various services and problems. I went and waited at 7:30 AM, when the office does not open until 8. But, it was worth it, because, when I left, the waiting room was full. Nobody returned my call, but they gave excellent service in person.
Yes, but you can also call to get started.
They do it there i believe it’s $54 and it’s required
I think only workmen's comp
No
Contact payroll and they might be able to send you another one and cancel the old one.
An authorized representative for IHSS is an individual who is willing to act on behalf of an IHSS applicant/recipient for the purpose of determining and maintaining eligibility to IHSS. The authorized representative may perform any or all of the following responsibilities: • Sign timesheets, verifying that services have been provided (see page two of this section for exceptions) • Sign IHSS forms that do not require the signature of a legal guardian or conservator • Assist with providing required documents and information • Provide all information necessary to establish the need for services at the time of initial application • Provide all information necessary to establish the continued need for services at annual reassessment
Yes, the employees will just not get paid temporarily which makes anyone moody so try to be nice to them. (Even though they might have an attitude)
Yes, Let ur worker start providing names from registry or Ihss. find a new one . give 2 weeks notice. once selected done.
Danielle just state to the client that ur unavailable on weekends. And prepare to look for another client if thats an issue. Stand ur ground. There are ALWAYS other clients. A 2 week notice is required by her if she chooses to retaliate.
Contact the Accounting Department at IHSS. If you can go down in person they'll give you one, if you can't call and they'll mail you one.
Yes she could apply but she needs to get her social security card as soon as possible one of the requirements is to have a full Medi-Cal
Like every day
