I recommend starting at the self help office. After you pass through the metal detectors at santa ana main court ask any of the deputies- they're usually happy to point you in the right direction.

Just go to the court house and file the documents

If defendant show up for small claims court does the Judge automatically rule in plaintiffs favor

I don't think so. Only if the defendant fails to show up in court would the judge rule in the plaintiff's favor. 😊
