Is the trail off of Discovery Lake to Double Peak clearly marked? I've been to Discovery Lake but it has been many years. I don't ever recall seeing other trails branch off and have only walked around the lake.

Yes it is clearly marked esp up the mountain.

Yes. The trail is well maintained and has rails even in many parts.
