I love this place! It is a great place to take kids or just have a family day out. There is an easy path for walking. There is also a great hike if you are up to it.

Nice lake with lots of green vegetation surrounds, hills & walking track. Lake is cool & peaceful area for nature lovers. Lots of ducks swim in the lake. Fishing is allowed here.

Lovely little lake. You can walk around it, it's about a mile walk. It's a paved trail with dirt trail option that runs along side of it..for if you had a mountain bike or horse. Then it looks like it connects to other trail systems if you want to head out farther! One trail goes up the double peak park. There is a dock that looks nice the chill on. Lots of bird watching.

Great hike for the whole family!! Nice views. Easy to moderate trails. A bit crowded. Good luck with parking. Don't stay after 7:30pm lots of mosquitoes.

Absolutely. There is a playground and I see whole families making the walk around the lake.
I noticed it but it did not appear to be dangerous. Report it if you feel it is.
Yes, dropshot and wacky rig work very well. Go from the dock or the rocks. There is also bluegill, catfish, and crappie.
