Our family member has been at Brookdale San Marcos for almost three and a half years with many health issues and needs. Whatever the situation big or small the entire staff steps up doing what it takes to help and care for her. It's been such a difficult year for all. This facility works tirelessly to make sure our loved one is healthy and safe at all times. From laundry and housekeeping to dining staff and cooks to escorts, activities, transportation and receptionists to med management and health services. I've had interaction with them all. Some a lot more than others. They are fracking awesome!! We live 2 hours away and to know that she has the best care gives us peace of mind. Brookdale director, Mary Ellen has the best facility on the planet! Her leadership shows through all the staff. Thank you to everyone person at Brookdale from the bottom of my heart for the love and respect you give to our special lady. We have mad respect for the jobs y'all do every day!! WE APPRECIATE YOU!!!! 🫂 🏆🥇

I first will share that the staff is very friendly and competent. I suffer from a chronic back problem due to an unfortunate auto accident and find it difficult to sit in dining chairs .I have always had food delivery to my room until recently but due to charges exceeding $30/day, I have sadly stopped ordering. There definitely isn't $30 worth of food on the delivery services. I feel this is discriminating in some ways. Disappointed for sure !

My sister has lived here for two years now. After living in a mobile home for years she has found what she says is her true home. The people who work here are fantastic. They make sure each and every person who lives here is comfortable and has their needs met. More than that, they treat everyone like family. Her apartment is so nice and she so appreciates the housekeeping. She is having a richer, fuller life here. Brookdale makes sure you do. I actually rate them 4-1/2 STARS.
