This facility is called NKLA. Which stands for No Kill Los Angeles. Rest assured.
This is not a public intake facility. All pets for adoption are PULLED from LA city shelters. Your best bet is to find friends and family who may be able to take the pet. Next step is reaching out to small rescue groups (check out coalition partners on the NKLA page). If you end up having to surrender to a city shelter, make sure to get the A# in order to track status and promote the animal to rescues so that they may pull them. The reason for this is so animals at risk and in need can be saved and rescues can manage their capacity of care. If they take in any animal brought to them, they would run into the same issues as government facilities.
Can I have the cat 🐱 we really liked how old is he can you call me at 818 80956 93
This facility does not accept owner surrenders. Had a friend who tried. You have to surrender to a shelter and let them know about the pet so they can take him/her from that said shelter. - Correct me if I am wrong as this was months ago.
