I'm a disable homeless man and I receive social security benefits and I need emergency housing I've already sign up for section 8 housing but can never get any feedback In'regard to my status on the waiting list I was told that if you are disable you get moved to the top of the list.
Do I have to come in person to get on the waiting list for low income housing her in San Diego?
I'm not sure exactly but it depends on your income. I was homeless at the time and had to do a survey called SPDAT through Regional Task Force. You can call them or inquire directly at the housing Commission. Maybe even St. Vincent or Rachel's Women's Center.
It has income limits...check www.sdhc.org for 2020 income requirements but waitlist for Section8 is 12 yrs....just got mine from 2007
