Change is good... I've been to Evergreen before and now that it's part of Moon Valley Nursery, it seems they've merged what both companies do well into a new style of nursery. They even have large trees now too! The service is great. The staff and even manager checked on us throughout the nursery (which is very, very large). For what we were looking to accomplish, they were spot on with the advice. Had fun, took a lot of cool pics too... Our new trees will be arriving soon and I'll update the review on the planting service portion. We'll definitely be back for more!

I met with Kraig Harrison at my home and at Moon Valley Nursery Carmel Valley for his design help in replacing some large privacy trees that were old and dying. He did a wonderful job assisting me with design ideas and picking out plants for my backyard. Kraig was so supportive and helpful with the concerns we had with one of the large species of trees we were considering purchasing. He suggested we purchase a thick root barrier so the roots would grow down and he said the delivery men would install the barrier along with our trees at no extra cost. The MV delivery men arrived on time with my trees and did a wonderful job in planting them and the barrier. The men gave me instructions on how to take care of them, but even several weeks after the trees where installed, if I had any questions, Kraig returned my call that same day. He was awesome. He really cares about providing great customer service before and after the sale.

I used to visit Evergreen nurseries. This is the first time I visited after Moon Valley took over. I was shocked to find all the plants four times as expensive as before. I didn't notice any change in quality of plants. 4x the price feels like pure greed. There are other nurseries in north county, which give better bang for the buck and after being price gouged once at Moon Valley, I am not going there again.

We decided to add some trees for privacy in our backyard, and went to Moon Valley Nurseries in Carmel Valley on a Sunday afternoon just to look around. All-star employee, Kayla, took us around the nursery to look at different options. She went above and beyond, and volunteered to take a look at our backyard to make a better recommendation. KAYLA IS AN EXPERT. She knew every type of plant in our backyard, from bushes, to trees, to flowers -- she even pointed out some trees that needed some TLC and provided us links/information on how to fix. To say she was invaluable is an understatement. She was professional, gave us her honest recommendations, and got us a great price (we know now - trees are expensive)!. We will be going back to her for all our future landscaping projects. Cannot recommend Kayla enough.

All citrus are technically under quarantine in parts of California that have been exposed to Asian Citrus Psyllid. Their is nothing wrong with them, but they could all be possible carriers of a virus that would kill off citrus. So that means restricted movement within the quarantine areas
