I can’t speak for the friendliness of the staff or the selection, but this is the single noisiest library I’ve ever been to. The acoustics and the lack of segmentation ensure that any noise carries through the entire building. Furthermore, the staff do nothing to cultivate a studious environment — just five minutes ago, one of the librarians was clapping as she emphasized a point to a young reader. Children shout frequently and absolutely no one speaks in hushed tones.

It is walkable from our home, so this is our home library. My kid like this place, but I am not big fan What's good here? Self checkout area Book request area, where you could pick up your reserved items Kids play area Used book sale area Lot of kids events What did not work for me? Noisy Unkempt Limited parking If these issues are resolved, this place could be a 5 star

This library is excellent for families. If I were an older person without kids, it might be a 4, as on days when they have big events for the kids some of the noise from the community meeting room on the side spills into the library, so it isn't always very quiet. It is also a very small library, if you are used to a bigger selection of books and videos. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have so many free activities for the kids. It is a pretty location, kept very clean, and I love that they have programs to help those of us who can't seem to keep up with the due dates for their checked out books and rack up fines. If you are on a very strict budget, it's very helpful. Kids can read down their fines, and once a month they have Fine Free Friday if you forgot to turn in your books the previous month. The city libraries don't do this. We love this library!

No, it's not a conventional library. It's a library kiosk sort of like Redbox with media such as digital video discs and including books. It's accessible 24 hours a day.
Door-Side Service is available at this branch by appointment only, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. -> this is posted on their website and is their current operating hours; they are not open to the public
No. It's just a library kiosk sort of like a Redbox.
Unfortunately the San Diego County Library isn't partnered with Kanopy.
This isn't a conventional Library, it's just a library kiosk. Therefore you're welcome to bring your emotional support dog to this vending machine if you'd like.
Yes you can.
Normally, yes. The SD Public Library system and the SD County Library system trade back and forth with Circuit requests, etc. and your book would be thrown in with those. Your book might take a while to get back to the SD County Library system, however, and it wouldn't be logged as returned until it did. Currently, with SD County Libraries not taking returns, you're best off checking directly with the library. Try the online "Ask a Librarian".
Renewing online: You can renew materials by logging into your online account. Renewing over telephone: Please call the Library branch near you to renew by telephone (library card number required). Renewing in person: Materials can be renewed by presenting a valid library card in person at any City of San Diego Public Library location during regular hours of operation. Automatic renewals: Items will be automatically renewed on their due date if they are eligible for renewal.
I dont think there's any limitations. You can take as many as you want at once.
It depends on what day your talking about
I would call them or check online.
