The prices have escalated regular site w/o any hookups is now $60 per nite. Sites are usually booked up 4 months in advance with little chance of getting a cancellation spot. This location has 212 sites with 16 sites with electric and water. Dump station is $10.
It's better to book ahead. If you want a beach front site they run about $50, if you want a back site they are about $35. Prices are subject to change. It's hard getting sites anytime of year because the weather is always 75° or higher. If you are planing a trip and you don't have time to book ahead you could chance it, however be sure to arrive at the ranger station at 6am. The station doesn't open until 9am but your for sure to get a spot. Unless it's the weekend. Spots are really hard to come by. Hope that helps!
February is slower for sure...but yeah there's not much that I know of camping there...motel 6 is $55 if u don't get lucky
Yep, reserved 6 months in advance. They do have some available due to occasional cancelations, but dont count on it.
are there any sites available for September 3 through 6?
Don't count on cancellations. Book in advance. Also, check-in isn't until 2 pm. So expect to be a while before you have access to your site.
It's better to book in advance. Six months to one year depending on what time of year you're planning on visiting. Spaces range from$35-$100. You can get lucky and get a spot right away due to cancellations but it's best to meet at the ranger kiosk as early as 6:00 am to be in line first because it's first come first serve. You can add days to your visit but you have to keep getting up early each morning and go to the kiosk and you might have to switch sites from where you're staying at. The weather is nice year round so reservations are needed year round but earlier when it comes to summertime and holidays. Hope this helps!
They do book in advance, but I think February would be pretty easy to get a spot. Prices vary from $35-100 depending on spot.
