Pros & Cons like any place you move to. :) Pros: Interior of the apartments are nice & modern, the pool/gym/clubhouse are lovely and always maintained, and the staff is always willing to help. Cons: the HOMELESS POPULATION is always intruding/breaking into cars/catching them on our ring camera doing suspicious/sometimes dangerous activities (one time we caught a man on our camera at 4am with a knife in his hand), you're fearful to walk your dog or walk to your car anytime after 10:30pm because of the dangerous homeless people on the property, people who don't live here are constantly at the pool, even though it's a gated community you're not safe because homeless/crazy people are always roaming, and VERY BAD SKUNK PROBLEM. Cons about Marisol LLC company (not the staff because I'm sure it's out of their control): Raising loyal customers rent. We've had friends here, who have been loyal customers for 1-3 years, whose rent has significantly increased drastically. This forced them to move out. From all my years of renting, typically rental properties find ways to keep loyal customers not run them out by increasing their rent.

Toured Marisol last weekend and had the pleasure of walking through the process with Arlene. She is amazing! The complex is only 1 year old and the grounds are immaculate: resort-style pool, large gym with every piece of equipment and free weights you could need, and dog-friendly amenities. The units themselves are spacious with brand new kitchens, upgraded flooring, full size washer/dryers in unit. I was so impressed with what I saw that I filled out an application on the spot. Move in date is 11/24. If you act quickly, they are currently offering move-in incentives with free rent and credits for the remainder of 2019. Get off the fence and go check it out. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I have decided to relocate to San Diego. We have settled on Carlsbad. Our move takes place in September. Such a beautiful place. It blew us away. Kelli was so helpful and patient with us doing the first portion of our application. I was losing it, but she was calm and helped with step by step. The property is new yes, but the staff makes a place. The staff here is outstanding. Love the demographics, and the surrounding area it offers. The location seems ideal for us. Retirement is going to be much to our liking at Marisol. In 6 weeks we will be home. Once again, thank you Marisol, and we are looking forward to making you our new home.

My fiancé and I went to tour the Marisol apartments recently as we will be moving to the area from San Francisco and it was a truly wonderful experience. Elijah showed us all around the property, giving an amazing tour of the amenities and then, of course, of all the apartments we wished to see. He was extremely knowledgeable about the company as well as the property. Those facts, coupled with his friendliness and patience (we did ask to see several different apartments), made this the absolute best touring experience we've ever had. It goes without saying that we are so looking forward to becoming residents. We also had the privilege of meeting Brenda and Kelli, who were both also lovely. Marisol has excellent staff and one of the most gorgeous properties we've seen. Fortunate to have found this gem! And looking forward to coming back.
