Knock it off. Unless you plan yourself to adopt them all. You need to look at whole picture
What was the question?
I work for the County and know for a fact that these people care deeply for the animals. I myself adopt from this shelter when looking for a new fur baby. What needs to change is people that keep breeding animals need to stop. We adopted a 9 month old pitbull on out wedding day and she is a wonderful dog. It's unfortunate that animals must be put down but, that is the sad reality of the world we live in. I suggest you be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.
Killing is not solving the issue. Volunteers may care deeply about the animals, but animals deserve a second chance to be adopted out and not killed. There are many no kill shelters that work with Rescue groups to save good adoptable pets. I would think that would be the priority of any Shelter to keep the kill rate down or nonexistent, especially if they depend on public donations and funding.
