When I moved in 6yrs ago it took up to two months to move in, they did your credit, your background check, your face to face and if you had a felony within the past 10 yrs you were denied, now they fill them up as fast as they can. People look at the area, (father Joe's is next door) and they see slot of the homeless people around but they automatically think we are part of that and that this is a bad place to live and they are wrong. This is totally different on the inside and we have nothing to do with the homeless or the shelters, if we did Gwen they owe me slot of money cuz the shelters are free and for a studio that's smaller than a storage is costing me 700.00 a month. Don't judge a book by is cover people, I know slot of people of great backgrounds who would love to live here because petcock park is two blocks away, the new library is also two blocks away, the transit, bus station and casino buses are next door, and Balboa park is less than 3 blocks away
It depends on what you mean by all done with. There are two stages to the application process: the initial application, then the interview. Personally, I wouldn't suggest moving there, but... Generally, once approved, within weeks.
Ok so i called and they told me they only needed to assinged me a unit does that mean im very close to moving in?
After your initial application (credit check, criminal background check), then you get to fill out an extended application, and everything is sent to their compliance department in Orange County. Depending on them, it can take a week to a month. After they say yes, it may take another week for them to get your room ready for you to move in.
