Don’t even think about it, RUN! But if you love to hear neighbors talk through the walls, parties at all hours of the night, kids kicking the walls 24/7, and people who have no idea how loud they are, this is the place for you! It’s a shame because the house was beautiful, the rooms were really good sizes, and there was a good amount of space. There were a lot of playgrounds, a good sized pool, plus 3 dog parks in walking distance. However, the house’s construction is awful. The cabinets were loose, there was a big hole in the wall when we moved in, and we had old multicolored linoleum flooring which was NOT in the model home. The walls are made out of such thin materials that I hadn’t had a good night’s sleep at all living there in 9 months. You hear EVERYTHING!! Neighbors stomped all throughout the house 24/7, kids kicked the walls and slammed doors, and they stomped and ran up and down their 3 stories constantly! The walls are so thin that you also hear complete conversations of people standing in the street. We wish we had not spent a penny in BAH here. We’ve seen packages being stolen from people’s doorsteps, drunk people rolling around in the street and on neighbors lawns, a surprising amount of people walking around outside after a party half-naked, and a neighbors dog that climbed into our yard and tried to attack our dog!! I have emailed and called multiple times reguarding an issue and had spent about 6 months trying to find a solution. I pleaded with them and begged! Not once was the problem ever fixed, nor was there effort on their side. Moving out was extremely easy though, and people seemed to have the same experience we did, neighbors complained constantly and not once were they heard either. They do not care about you at all, they care about money coming in, not the problems you present. Take your BAH and do literally anything else with it!!

Was a good place until the “remodel” of the properties. The cabinet units are smaller than the old ones, and lower quality as well. And when your “pantry” is the size of a shoe box, the smaller cabinets do not help or make sense. LMH did not disclose any information about the quality or changes in size at any point in the process. They didn’t even tell us the colors were different until the night before lol. They also replaced our appliances with smaller less efficient models. NOT WORTH FULL BAH BEFORE AND DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT NOW. We spoke to both the District Manager and regional office about these issues. When asked about the lower quality cabinets the answer was about cost on LMHs end to maintain them was lower. When asked about it again they then said it’s a mix of cost effective and lack of materials available to repair the existing items if they ever needed repairs. When asked about this violating the tenant bill of rights because it was not a required maintenance while the unit is occupied they skated around the topic and avoided to answer. If they are going to use cheaper “cost effective” materials then they should stop charging full BAH rates to maintain the property. If anything needs replaced it’s the 1990s washers and dryers.

You pay full BAH for the housing plus the other "wonderful" things the community has to offer. Except, if you want to use the community gym, make sure you watch out for everyone's toddlers running around and climbing all over the equipment. My husband has been INJURED MULTIPLE TIMES due to having to dodge kids running with weights and staff refuses to take the complaints seriously or put anything in place. We were told "as long as the kids are being watched their shouldn't be a problem" But the parents who bring their children in DO NOT watch their kids. Who actually has the capabilities of watching their children and getting a workout? The parents face no consequences for not watching their children anyways. So what happens when it's a child that gets hurt? Is that what it will take to get a rule implemented about children using the GYM as a PLAYGROUND? Overall, not impressed.

Well, the house itself was pretty sweet. Hard to find housing that already has a microwave and washer & dryers already in the units. I just couldn't stand my neighbors letting their kids run rampant around my house. My wife and I rarely ever got any sleep while living here. They always left trash or wood chips on my porch or bothered me while I was outside just working on my car. People SPEED like crazy through the neighborhoods and nothings ever really been done to stop it. No one uses the stop signs. I've almost been t-boned there at least 10 times because of some jackass not stopping to the sign. I left as soon as my lease was up and am now happy in other military housing. The staff here are friendly, nice and always helpful. Just where I was put in the housing was way too much. It was like living at a NASCAR race with screaming children. Perhaps other streets weren't as bad, but mine was definitely bad enough to make me move.

Questions & Answers

Are there back yards for dogs with the 2 bedroom 1.5 bath apartments?

We have a 3 bed 3.5 bath and there still isn't a back yard so im gonna say probably not. But there are several parks you can take your dogs.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes very cold AC but if you live in a 3 story the 3rd level gets a little warm and you gotta bump down the a/c to like 67 for it to be comfortable up there. But when you come downstairs it's freezing.

Do they have icemakers in the fridge
