You guys say that sometimes you put animals to sleep because they are beyond your care? What is exactly beyond your care? I want to bring a stray kitten in but he looks like he has a health problem. Can you guys still help him and take him in?

They can euthanize an animal if he/she has terminal brain cancer for example or if he/she is sick with some other type of illness that is deemed incurable such as hepatitis or if they have cancer that has spread all over their bodies. Unfortunately, only god almighty can cure all these problems that are so severe. This is what they are referring to when they say that caring for an animal in this condition is beyond their scope. Curing them is virtually impossible. But I am sure they will do their utmost to bring this kitty back to health and give him up for adoption if he does not have an incurable illness.

You're correct that they only put down animals that are beyond their care. All that means is that if the kitten cannot recover at all, they'll put her down. This is very rare though and they have great medical care here for the critters. You should bring the kitten in.
