I have a male iguana about 2 years old and I can't take care of her anymore. I want to know if I can take her, and what do I need?

You would need your ID such as a driver's license or a California ID if the animal is not yours. But if the animal is yours you just need to take him/her to the main office, pay the surrendering fee, which is approximately $25 and be ready to give them a plausible explanation for getting rid of your animal! You see, an animal is part of the family not an old sterio that you can simply throw in the dumpster because you bought a more modern one, because it no longer works or because you are tired of having it encroaching on your personal space! Have some compassion don't just think of yourself because tomorrow you can become gravely ill due to refractive epilepsy for instance and others will view you as a nuisance! Not even god approves of your selfishness!

I believe so, I've seen far crazier animals before.

Yes

Yes, take her or him to the Pasadena humane society and they will take care of it until it can be adopted. They do not euthanize unless the animal is sick or dangerous, which iguanas are usually neither. Good luck, and its too bad you have to give up your pet.
