There are adoption fees to help cover the cost of care that your pet may have received. Fees at the time of this response are: Dogs are $130; Cats are 1 for $75 or 2 for $90; and Rabbits are $35. Other fees vary by animal.

free pet adoption day is like twice a year! thats how i got my dog & she was the second to last one available. i love her so much. shes the ABSOLUTE BEST dog I've ever had in my life. she also follows me everywhere & doesn't ever need a leash....thats how obedient she is. her orig owner brought her in bec they were movin to a new housing that doesn't allow pets. shes ten years old, just adores me. i can't imagine life without her. only costed me fifteen dollars to license her.
Nothing is really free having a dog or a cat or any pet requires good food in the house provided for them puppy pads doggie bags if you're going to walk your dog collars and leashes training there's nothing really free it's what you want to put into it that counts that will make you a success with your new pet. Pets just like us have needs and those needs must be met if you have love and compassion you should do fine. Whatever you spend will be worth it just have patience it takes a while for an animal to adjust to a new home put yourself in the animals position how would you feel in a strange place you would hope for love you would hope for caring and you would hope someone take you to the bathroom on time!

In reality, the animals are free but they only charge you for the services that are needed for the adoption process to take place. These include: sterilization, microchipping licensing and a voucher to see a doctor within 3 days after leaving the shelter. If it turns out that he/she has the kennel cough for example, you have to pay for the treatment separately. Good luck!
