I worked for UPS when I was younger. They have to use a lot of extra drivers during the holiday season, and they are really swamped. If you live in a gated residence, these drivers might not have access, or know the ins/ outs of gaining access or possibly they don't want to spend the time trying to figure it out. I highly recommend contacting customer service and have the package left at the customer service desk. They have late hours and also have self service access boxes outside the door
Be patient it wiil get to you !! Merry Christmas !!🎅🎄🎁
This time of year volume is way up and weather delays happen a lot. You should be patient and contact customer service main line. They work very hard to keep up but you have no idea the volume of I creased packages they deal with this time of year.
My problem with UPS is how they handle gated residents. After my mishap of delivery i had to try different contact options,: and i found out that delivery driver are not allowed to use there phone to text/call the client just the dispatcher. One customer service person told me about at nite you can go to the pick up window in the pk. lot between 9 pm to 10 pm and pick up a late or delayed delivery iten called WILL CALL. Not all the employees known about that service just ask or walk around. Federal X is worse and not diversified in other mean of delievery options and non union, also what general services they offer is becoming to high even self serve. Suggest trying some of the smaller competitor's but all the big options are locked in. Good luck especially for the holidays.
I dont work for ups, but I've had packages that have been treated similarly. You really do need to contact ups customer service for this. The stores are merely end points in the chain and while they can look at the ups routing information they cannot make any changes. Only customer service can. You should also take a good look at the tracking information there should be a reason. For the delay listed.
