Some cool guy from this company illegally parked behind me and blocked me in while he chatted with a street vendor and got a nice looking fruit cup. Anyways I ended up doing a 20 point turn and squeezed my way out of there after he got in line an ATM.

This place is the definition of a failure. The guards like myself never get a call back showing me communication is horrible. The turnover rate for this branch alone is high which is unreasonable should be looked into. In my opinion the hiring process and how they treat guards is the issue. They bid so low on contracts then pay minimum wage for guards to instead pay the office employees most of the profit, what a sick game. Reason they lost the Tishmen Speyer contract. My friend just had a baby they denied him leave which is awful and against the law. They use Intimidation tactics on officers which makes a hostle environment. I can say HR is the only reliable source in this branch. Cant say company because I dont know how other branches operate.

I have no complaints yet about this company since i am so young employee. as i read some comments from others about the company let me tell you guys something that if you are really a professional then you have to take issues in a positive way. doing security is not easy. since having combat experience for several yeas, i have found the security job a fit for myself and utilizing my minor security experience with the company at my site to make things better and always come with a solution with supervisors that i work with. i agree that sometimes things dont go the way we want it but one thing is really important that being a professional security office we all need to have extreme level of patience and finally a decision will be made on our behalf. They lack integrity, always losing contracts, very unprofessional, a company that lies and doesn't own up to responsibility is not a place you want to work for. They do not deserve good officers. They treat women horribly and they discriminate.

Terrible company
There are some companies that will pay for it. I personally would not apply for Securitas. Try SIS Security Industries or G4S Security.
There is no holiday calendar the company will make you work when they want you to plus if you want x mas or Thanksgiving off All major holidays are blocked off and they won't let you have that day specially if you are or going to become a flex officer
You would want a city job in SF in the financial district. Most of there post there are console based where you have the opinion to stand and sit. if you really want an easy site make sure you have an over night shift good luck
