This is the post office that handles the mail coming to my house. I've had various issues with deliveries over the years. From not getting mail for a couple of weeks after the carrier lied and said my box was full, to them folding/crumpling letters into my box. Recently they lied and said they delivered a package (padded envelope). I did not receive the package on that day, nor did I receive any letters that were in my informed delivery. The mail and package were not stolen as the mail from the previous day was still in the box. This was the day before Easter so I would not be surprised if they just skipped delivery or were backed up which is honestly understandable, but I wish they would have just delayed it vs lying and saying they delivered it. It's so frustrating because they scanned the package as delivered which is making it very hard to file a claim. To my knowledge you cannot change your home post office but I would keep my eye on mail if you're expecting something of value/importance.

I accidentally dropped off a return package from Zappos. They use UPS for returns. The person who helped me told me UPS comes by every day for pick ups but they don't. I have the tracking number for the package. It said UPS hasn't received it as of today (Saturday). I dropped it off on Tuesday and inquired about it on Saturday. If UPS comes by everyday, then the tracking number would’ve showed movement by now. Luckily Zappos was nice enough to process the refund anyway. This location is very shady because the phone number they have listed goes to a full voicemail but they ask customers to call the number. I don't always recieve my mail either. I had to cancel magazine subscriptions because they never deliver it. FedEx and UPS are more reliable than this place. Be careful with your packages at this location because it will go missing.

It was my first time here, so I can’t speak for how it usually is, but the customer service man who helped me was exceptionally bad. He couldn’t find the package I had come to pick up, so he asked me to verify the zip code. I told him three times, but he wouldn’t take the ear buds out of his ears long enough to actually hear me, so he kept trying to send me out to the Emeryville annex. Luckily his supervisor overheard and told him my zip code actually was one they serviced from this location. He still couldn’t find the package.

Well.. now I’ve seen something new! The past 2 days... the carrier that is obviously a temp working the 94610 route... actually threw a large package from his USPS mail Jeep... up 2 flights of stairs! Like a newspaper delivery guy! Luckily the contents weren’t fragile.. but he didn’t know that! Seriously.. 2 days in a row ..throwing a medium sized box 40 feet as he was seated in his USPS vehicle!!! And try calling to get a supervisor!! Didn’t answer 4 different calls!

Yep the lobby is open on Saturdays from 9 AM - 3 PM. Was just there recently on a Saturday and that’s also what it said on their door.

Dont worry, they dont immediately return to sender. Typically, 3 attempts are made, notices will be left if you are not home.
