Solid East Bay archery spot with parking nearby. A members hit with two practice ranges and two trail ranges. A $5 donation is suggested to help members keep the place going.

This place is fantastic and not only has a great 28 target field course but it also has a great 14 target hill course. Not to mention a very well-kept archery range with plenty of target. A plus or minus depending on what type person you are, the Joel reception is very limited here but I love it.

Classic field archery range, very friendly members. Appears to be open to the public (donations gratefully accepted for maintenance) and is very well maintained. Paths and signage are clear as well.

Came here with a group for a birthday (mine lol) and it was so much fun. Instructors/helpers were clearly super passionate about archery (and safety, of course) but also made sure everyone was having fun. If you do the intro/beginners class - you start shooting at targets that are super close and the better you do, the farther back you get to move your target. They also will put up balloons on the targets which is super fun/satisfying when you pop all of yours with the 3-4 arrows you get for each volley.

Taking my own to train
It is, with restrictions: 1) Only the courses are open. The practice area remains closed 2) Keep groups small, 3) Wear masks where appropriate, 4) Haul out your own trash.
It is the 2nd Sunday of the month that is club shoot day, and that only takes up the courses from morning to mid-afternoon. The practice area remains open during that time. The 2nd SATURDAY is a work day, and on those days portions of the range and course may be closed for maintenance.
Dogs are welcome, but they must be on leash and not disruptive.
Cell service in general is pretty spotty up on the range. It should work well enough for texts, but voice calls are hit or miss.
How much money you want and home what is the length of pull and how many pounds for both bows
Only for the classes. The closest shop with rental bows is Ohlone Archery on Marina Blvd in San Leandro.
