Got here at 2:50 pm. It is now 3:30 and no help. Oh, I was the only one here for 20 minutes! Workers in the back talking and looking but no assistance for us. This is so unacceptable and they close at 4 pm.

Posting here since I don't know how to send kudos to this person's manager. I had an issue with applying for Medicare part B. I had FAX'd the required forms in and after not hearing back after a week's time I called them. Miss Lewis was more than helpful. When she couldn't find the FAX'd documents, she called the UPS store that I had used and was able to locate them. There was an issue with how my employer had filled the form and she called them as well and was able to resolve the issue. What a great thing to realize that there are actually some wonderful cival servants and Miss Lewis is living proof of that! Thank you!

Relatively fast service considering i stopped by w/o an appt. Took 1.5 hour to get SSN services done. Entrance doesn't clearly say that Social Agency is inside, but other than that it is a pretty good place to get your social services done.

Can I make appointment
No
Can I get a replacement card at this office
How do i put n a claim?
What do i need to replace my card
Yes
You can download it off the internet from the cms.gov website
You can call the 800 number (expect to be on hold for at least an hour) or I think you can also do it online.
Go on line
Try calling your local office.
Look for the nearest office contact call and ask to book an appointment. The calls take time sometimes but call back to back
The Antioch office is not letting people in. To make an appointment you might be able to do it online or listen to the choices on the phone. I had to go to Oakland and was let in, but they only let in a few people at a time. I was the 10th person in line had to wait 45 minutes. Once inside had to wait another hour to speak to a person. They close at 4pm (or stop answering phones) so they can complete the work they took in.
Keep calling after every drop or minute, it finally goes through, looks like they are having a problems with the calls and many people are calling so they lone up upto a specific number then the rest can't go through, so the more you call the higher your chances to get in line when one person drops
I just dealt with this for name change reasons. You have to call them to set it up first. Normally you have to go in and show ID but since they aren't open to the public because of covid, you just have to mail them an ACTUAL ID, not a copy - I had to send in my medical insurance card. Just make sure you send it as certified mail with requested return receipt. That was you can track the letter and know when they're sending your ID back.
Call the 800 number for Social Security they will give you a printout of your benefits through the mail
No, not right now.
All offices are closed.
It depends on why you are going. Replacement cards typically don't require any documentation.
You better go there to request replacement, and don't be surprised it would takes two to three hours to call your number and no frere parking.
Call the 1800 number (prepare to be on hold for an hour) or I think you can make an appointment online with an account on ssa.gov.
He's right with S.S.I. you have to go back to the office and confirm your address... Bring proof of your current address... God Bless and have a Merry Christmas 😇🙏✝️👼🙋🏿♀️🎄🎅❄️☃️
