First get a referral & work permit from your counselor at school.Go get familiar with the place.Visit it,get to know it.Be friendly but not over friendly with staff. Ask questions that your curious about.I would call Beth at the Seb Humane Society they have a summer youth program. It never hurts to try you can gain something and not lose anything.Good luck! !!!😊

I don't think they have any entry-level paid jobs. I would put together a resume' and a letter expressing your love of animals and desire to learn about career options, as well as volunteering to gain skills and confidence with the animals and also connection with coworkers and the public. Then you can make plans... I hope this helps you develop a strategy that leads to satisfying work and opportunities to learn and become an invaluable member of our working community. Many Blessings, Rev. Be
