Is this place closed or open? Google says it is closed as of 01/11/2021, but there are reviews from 2 days ago, what's going on?

Yes is open!

It's Mount baldy of course it's open but a lot of the places up there are either booked or closed because of covid you just got to check with the highway patrol or road conditions to make sure you don't need chains don't go too late in the day or too early and you should be fine we went up there on New year's Eve and it was absolutely awesome

It's literally just a mountain you could drive up there whenever you want anytime you want any day of the week there are some restaurants on the side on the way up towards the tip of the mountain that are probably closed but the mountains is always open and you can park on the side
