The hot tub is a really nice, large, rock-lined one, but to my knowledge it is not piped in from an actual hot springs...maybe the water is sourced from Icicle Creek. Many of the cabins are lovely 5 minute walk away, so if you need something really close, ask about availability of those rooms. There are two larger cabins (one that sleeps 8) just up the hill from it--they are the closest.
Its a hot springs pool. Its typically open year round, however, during our last visit visit a pipe froze and rhey had to shut it down for a few days.
There is a pool and a hot tub that is basically a pool. Yes, the hot tub is open year round, not sure about the pool! It can be a bit difficult to find, and you need your room key to get in.
No, it is not. However there is a nice in-ground hot tub behind it that stays open. Also there are small venues around the resort that are heated and unlocked including game room, library, gym, and a couple medium dance floor places that could get you out of your room
