Far surpassed my expectations! This is a family run business and the staff was genuine, kind and caring. The introduction was educational and funny, the farm was very clean and the reindeer were eager to be fed. The gift shop was absolutely adorable with a great selection of souvenirs. Worth the trip and money!

This is a family run farm that focuses on education and awareness. You get to learn amazing information about reindeer and actually interact with them by feeding and petting them. I never knew how nice and calm the reindeer is! If you have kids or with friends and family, this can be a fun experience. You get to have a discount for the future visots after your first visit.

It was fun and I learned a few things about reindeer that I didn't know. There was a LOT of kids, which is to be expected I guess, so if you're allergic to kids and all of the noises and activities that are associated with them then this probably isn't your kind of place. We came in mid-February and it was very busy so I can only imagine how busy it is around Christmas time. We fed reindeer, petted reindeer, and took pictures of reindeer. It was an enjoyable experience and I suspect that we'll be going back again.

Such an amazing place to visit, especially around the holidays. Reindeer were beautiful and very friendly. We loved being able to look at them up close, feed and pet them. Staff at the farm were incredibly helpful and customer service friendly. For mobility-impaired travelers, they offered a golf cart ride down/up the hill making the place very accessible. We enjoyed gathering around the campfire for 10 minutes to listen to the owner's daughter teach us about reindeer and the farm, and then having 30 or so minutes inside the pen to interact with the reindeer. Great fun for all ages.

Most likely. But you have to sign a waiver that the reindeer have two weeks off from Dec 24.
There are lots of other opportunities around the state to “see” reindeer. Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is a fully-immersive and educational experience. The $20 ticket price in December includes complimentary hot cocoa, cider and cookies, a 15 fireside presentation, and the only opportunity in the lower 48 to go inside the reindeer enclosure, surrounded by the herd and feeding them from the palm of your hand. Photo opportunities are endless. We would love to have a viewing area, but our parking lot is not big enough to handle the 900 scheduled visitors we have each day, plus the crowds that would come to see them if we provided that option that you were referring to.
They do have an "off" season where they dont do tours, but check their website - it has a calander with the available dates and you can book a tour online. https://www.leavenworthreindeer.com
Just call! I'm sure they'd have no issue letting you pop over to the gift shop
Go to their website and book your visit there to make sure space is available
Yes.
Not only did Elsa have her baby but you can get your picture taken with both of them!
The reindeer farm is open year round. You can probably visit in the summer when they aren't busy, and reserve a winter date at that time. Or, maybe just call and ask....
Website says 23 openings st 11:30 and 29 at 1:30. Other times don't indicate they're filled but if they don't allow them to be selected that's probably the case.
$15/person. Children under a certain age (can't remember) are free except during peak season, then at that I think it's only $5. But adults are $15. Worth the price, but remember to make reservations. You can't just show up.
They are only located in Leavenworth.
