I went in and asked very specifically for the gewurztraminer dessert wine, and the gal behind the counter said, they call it the Leavenworth white wine now. I asked if they do samples and she said $8 for a glass or $22 for the bottle. I asked again, it's the same thing as a few years back and against he said yes. I went on and on about how I loved the wine and had been dreaming of it since I had it the first time. I didn't even think to check because she was so sure that it was the same. Imagine my surprise when I got at home chilled it and opened it up and it was nothing like it was a few years ago. I don't think she even knew what a gewurztraminer dessert wine was or the difference. I am so disappointed. I drove 3 hours and drove home there's no way I can go back now. I ended up dumping the whole bottle what a waste.

I have been a case club member for a number of years. I really enjoy visiting the tasting rooms in Leavenworth and Woodinville. The staff is usually so friendly and informative; they clearly enjoy what they do. The wine selection is wide enough to be interesting but not so expansive as to lose quality and focus.

We had the best time there on a Saturday afternoon. We had a larger group and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Sue welcomed us in and really created a fun and easy going tasting experience for everyone. We will definitely be back! Oh yeah, walked out with a couple bottle too
