I am 100 percent certain that somebody called an animal control officer to cold bloodedly turn you in. You know, some people who hate dogs will turn their neighbors in for stupidities such as if the dog barks once in a blue moon or if they see that the dog has no identification tags or if the dog makes the mistake of going inside their precious yard. If he is not microchipped or licensed you can be find for that because they don't want to be responsible if he gets lost or stolen. If he barks too much especially at night and the neighbors submit 3 written complaints 15 days apart from each other you will be required to appear at the meatings and eventually they will take your dog away from you, euthanize him and you will forfeit the right to have a dog for a year. Pray to god for guidance and hope for the best, if you don't have any of these problems, then you have nothing to fear.
I believe that someone has called for whatever reason...it's happened to me. But when they got there they found my dog well taken care of not aggressive and mind you his a bull terrier...he now weights 80 pounds..but then about 30pds.so don't worry after they see there gone.
I agree, but our dog is a poodle and she doesnt bark...and i dkn why they call..i should ask the officer tomorrow did someone call 😂😂😂
This happened to us once before with our 9 year old dog. They came out nowhere and had a binder with them and said that they we're checking to see if the dog was chipped, spade, and registered in long beach. We think someone called/ complained because they only came to our home, from what I seen. Neighbors can/will be haters.
They rarely go door to door. Someone usually has to call them. Make a complaint.
