Hi Richard, that shouldn't be a problem. All animals adopted from BHS will have a rabies vaccination certificate, which appears to be the only certification you'll need for a personally owned pet. As long as your home environment matches what we believe to be the best fit for a dog, then we would consider our Canadian neighbors through the same "first come, best fit" lens as all other prospective adopters.
