From my understanding, if your primary care has alternative methods or facilities that are in direct correspondence with your primary care physician, he/she will use them. Congratulations on the 'quit smoking' factor but I don't think they are going to send your friend to a treatment facility for smoking. Now, if you were to say, crystal method and have a record of relapse and self destructive behaviors; then maybe a PC would consider White City. And even then, you got to deal with wait time for slot to open. From what I've heard WHITE CITY is the Pinnacle of substance abuse treatment and mental health. I tried to get in but I don't qualify. I've expressed that I Need some sort of inpatient treatment...... !!!
