This has got to be the worst VA facility I have ever been to. Everything is closed. Doors are locked. Hard to find a restroom.

I am not sure why i always hear horror stories about the VA, maybe in the valleys case we have a good VA with great staff. Scheduling is easy, i am usually in and out within 30 minutes for whatever my visit requires. My C&P examiners have been extremely kind, helpful, respectful and seem like they genuinely care.

SORCC has been a godsend for this veteran. The services I receive are top notch. From outpatient therapy to monthly bloodwork, I have a great repoire with the staff and in return they have always solved my issues and always responsive when needing outside care. I am currently on the Choice program and it's a great program. My Choice provider is my outside provider who has been my primary caregiver for over 12 years. I am one who appreciates this incredibly generous department. If not for my VA benefits I would have probably died long ago. So I would like to say Thank you very much for your service and sacrifice. I hear way too many vets complaining about their free care and services. You would think they would be a bit more appreciative.

It would be nice if they hired doctors that actually care about the patient. I have been treated so poorly by 3 out the 4 team doctors I've had. They are rude, arrogant and their bedside manner is atrocious. I don't even feel comfortable going to my appointments by myself anymore. I try to always be accompanied by a family member, and even that doesn't seem to deter the behavior, or how I am treated.

You are the textbook patient for this program. It's not easy, but by the time you are finished you'll feel like a new person. They offer job training and every type of counseling you can think of. If you can be completely honest with yourself and have hit rock bottom. Take the leap for yourself, your loved ones and your friends. Plus you are surrounded by fresh air and beautiful mountains. A little trivia. Most of the older buildings were built by German POW's from WWII. Goodluck Brother.
Yes, the golf course is closed indefinitely.
I think their thinking is correct. To start think of replacement . like water every time erg comes drink water until urge goes away. Nicotine rises when u have not smoked. In 5 days the nicotine is out of system. Working out I found was best for I. Good luck!
Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford.
do you offer haircuts
The audit of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs operations, released Monday, ranked the facility third-worst in the nation in waits veterans endured to see specialists and seventh-worst nationally for access to mental health services.
No! This is an outpatient facility only. It's main mission is rehabilitation and has special housing for those with addiction issues. The outpatient services are very good and has several clinics for many disabilities. I have been using this VA since 1994. I also have clinics at Roseburg and Portland. I am currently on the Veteran Choice Program. This has allowed me to use my outside family physicians. Goodluck.
From what I have heard, they do a very good job with fitting and rehab.
No......it's a holiday.
Yes
Yes.... it's fine.... bring some earbuds 👍
Yes they will gladly accept donations.... drive in the entrance continue straight and the first building on your right bldg 201....the police is there too
No. Their emergency room use is for inpatients only. However, there are several throughout the Valley.
No..... only a clinic
Both. Has many clinics to choose from.
We used too.
Yes, they do. The White City VA has a mental health section with mental health professionals who can assist with everything from diagnosis to treatment of mental illnesses, as well as aid in the treatment of PTSD and addiction.
I'm just a vet myself. But seen this before. You're better off calling Federal VA where you filed your claim. Dealing with VSO is inviting a middle man into your issues. So deal directly with Bigger officials like Portland VA. This is to get things moving... Then, a major location, can refer you to a satellite clinic.
Yes we do, we accept toiletrys, laundering items and decent clothing new or used, male and female. See the: Golden Girls in Bldg. 200 or contact your local VFW.
8 to 5
Yeah I'm traveling from Reno Nevada so I'm just trying to get a heads up beforehand. Thank you
Only activity left is the boweling ally and the rec services activities. Frame and Paddle & Craft shop have been disassembled.
Requires a referral
Take a look at "Kelly". You can stay there indefinitely if you undo your moral compass while there, and act like an obedient child. Staff likes that(I.e., "Philip") when you do whatever mormons instruct you to do. I would ask Alex Riggs, but she retreated to Salt Lake City to avoid federal prosecution. Nepotism kills.
Most times you need an appointment but you can get the appointment by walking in to building 201 and going to admissions.
Call the county Vet clerk. They can do most of the things a VA regional can do.
