Brittany’s answer is close. It first opened in 1955 in Park and Shop and was called King Norman’s Wonderland. You can see a video of it on You tube and will see the same train we are using today. It was moved to Oakland and then brought back to Concord where is today in 1970.
Yes, Pixieland has been in it's current location since the 70's. I'm old enough to remember it. During the 50's and early 60's their we're a lot of small theme parks built in our country for the young baby boomers, such as Pixieland, Oakland's Fairyland, Lodi's Mickey's Grove and many others!!
What !? Huh? How old are you? Your talking 70 years ago! Were you around than? Sure its not "Britannys Wonderland" sorry but , where is your information coming from?
Pixieland was first opened in 1950 with the original name “King Norman’s Wonderland” it re Opened as Pixieland in a much later year that I don’t quite remember.
