It's says gates close at dark , but I drive by there every weekday taking my kids to and from school and a lot of times the gates are closed . What up with that.

I'm up there pretty often and I know they are closed on Mondays but the gates tend to be open unless it's dark.

Only time I've seen them close as if the trails are too wet, or they're doing maintenance on the trails. I take my kids there at least once a month.

The trails are open everyday 630am to 30 minutes after dark but are closed every Monday they will also close the trails for maintenance, after heavy rain fall, and for public safety issues such as high heat advisorys.

They are open except mondays im there 2-3 times a week .....always open

Gates close 30 min after dark.

They close around 5pm

I always call a ranger to verify.

I believe the sign says closed when it gets dark.

I know they are closed on Mondays. I haven't been up then when it starts getting dark but I think you have half an hour after it gets dark to leave.
