They will hold the animal 9 days on the tenth day they give it up for adoption i know this for sure i just adopted a dog we took him home on the tenth day
If deemed a stray they have a 5 day hold before anyone is allowed to adopt incase the owner comes in, I just adopted a dog from there.
They don't even hold some animals a day.. bad place.. close it down.. saw their vans at a restuarant for 2 and 1/2 hours.. poor animals were in there wining.. i say misuse of public funds...
Three days, but I would recommend checking their website, otherwise you might lose the animal permanently. Better yet, call them when they're open. There should be a phone number.
